At Tunstall Square Kindergarten…
Our play-based program places emphasis on the individual needs of each child. We encourage curiosity in all children and offer opportunities to learn through hands-on experiences.
Through these learning experiences we also promote children’s communication and language development and provide opportunities to share stories, reflect through play and express ideas.
We provide a wide range of activities and encourage children to express themselves creatively through music, role play and art.
We aim to develop the child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills in an environment rich in language and communication, which is also nurturing and fun.
Incursions, excursions and special event days are provided to further develop these skills.
Our four year old groups venture out into the community with visits to Coles and Tunstall Square. They also go on regular nature walks through St Clems Reserve down to Koonung Creek.
